We have an exciting agenda planned that features Jerry Johnston, Senior Advisor from the VSE Boeblingen Lab, who will present an overview of the new VSE/ESA 2.5 and how it fits into today's e-business environment. If you have ever attended a VM/VSE Tech or WAVV Conference, then you know what a dynamic speaker Jerry is and won't want to miss this interactive presentation!
We are also pleased to announce that Leo Langevin, Developer for Connectivity Systems, will give a presentation on the new version of TCP/IP 1.4 (which will be shipped with VSE/ESA 2.5). In addition, he'll discuss connectivity issues between TCP/IP and Linux/390.
We'll round off the afternoon with Rich Smrcina, from Grede Foundries, who will speak in-depth about Linux/390 with a live demonstration. His presentation will feature such information as software products that are available today that run on Linux/390. This includes a Text Editor that emulates X-EDIT, the version of REXX he's currently running on Linux, web server, file server and print server software.
S & C Electric will host the meeting and will also provide a free buffet luncheon for all attendees. Please RSVP today (but no later than April 24th) by calling or emailing Chuck Ehrmeyer at(773)338-1000 ext. 2714, cehrmeyer@sandc.com or Karl DeVore at (847)360-6797, kdevore@co.lake.il.us
