WAVV Requirements

 
   REQUIREMENTS  IMPROVE  SOFTWARE !!   
  Vendors value requirements processed through WAVV because of
the many customers that review and vote on each requirement

* You don't need to attend the conference.
* They are easy to do.
* Requirements are accepted for any product and any vendor.
 

To submit a new requirement:

It will help if you type it in the WAVV form before the conference.
Then e-mail it or bring it on diskette.

If you can do MS-Word documents

      1. download template:   Word97 compatible wavvreqtemplate00w7.dot              
        Note: you should supply a .dot extension and 'save it to disk'.
        'open it' directly from the web browser is not recommended.              
        (get this if your browser doesn't access template above correctly)             
      2. start a new document from the template,
      3. type your requirement,
        (if you run out of room, do 'tools', 'unprotect' in MS-Word and continue typing)
      4. use the following naming convention to save it to a .doc file
        WRvvIInn - vv=vendor initials, II=your initials, and
        nn=sequence number to uniquely number your requirements (start at 01)              
        for example: WRIBKD01
        ...then...
      5. e-mail the file (or files) as an attachment to coordinator for new requirements
